Dunno what your problem is here, but it's obviously separate from NFDB.
It's not an issue with OpenBSD's packages per se, because I've used Perl
GD on many of my OpenBSD 4.5 systems.  By all accounts you broke
something but I'm not sure what.

NFDB was developed on and works fine with 4.5.  Your issues are specific
to your system.  I'm not sure what, but something is broken.

If you can reproduce this on a virgin 4.5 system I'd love to know.
